My Testimony

For a month or two I was confronted with a voice in my head getting louder every time "Good guys go to hell". This was a response to a statement that I would say to people that witnessed to me, "I'm a good guy God wont send me to hell". Well in January 1990 I ask the voice what He was talking about. He said hell was full of good guys only saved guys go to Heaven.

That night at work I had an old bible I had received as a gift in high school open to see if the Gulf war was in the bible. While reading in Jeremiah 51:, I got up to add chemicals to my tanks came back to my desk and the bible was open to John 15:1.There were no fans blowing and being on graveyard there were no people around in this area to turn the pages. As I began reading a change was taking place in me when I had gotten to; John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

I gave my life to the Lord that night never being the same again.

Yes He will save you where you are even at work.

He Paid a Debt He did not owe,

Because we had a debt we could not pay.

The Roman Road to Salvation

God says that all are sinners-Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

God tells us the reason all are sinners-Romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."

God tells us the result of sin-Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

God tells us of his concern for sinners-Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us."

God's way of Salvation is made plain-Romans 10:9, 10:13 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation....For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Dear Heavenly Father,

I realize that I am a sinner and I do believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Divine, Begotten Son of God, Who died on the Cross for my sins and arose again as the Bible teaches. And believing this I want you, Lord Jesus, to forgive me of all my sins, to come into my heart and save me and give me eternal life. I trust You now as my Savior, I receive You into my heart. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving me.
